New Students Join Clubs, Sports Teams

Being new to a school can sometimes be difficult—meeting new people, new teachers, new hallways and new opportunities. We have all been there, but how do you get rid of the new school jitters?

New students are using the myriad of clubs, sports, and other organizations at EHS to get involved, meet new friends, and quiet the “new school jitters.” “The only thing I had trouble with was deciding on what I wanted to join because there are so many different clubs,” sophomore Hannah Belobrajdic said.

There is Drama club, band, basketball, baseball, and plenty of more sports and clubs to join. “I have never had a freshman come to me with a bad experience with being on my team,” Coach Andrew Bersett said.

There is plenty to accomplish here at EHS. “I’m going into set building for drama. It’s something I can show somebody and say ‘Hey, I made that.’ Ya know?” freshman Ben Linck said. No matter if you want to build, draw, or get in on the sports, there is always something to do here at EHS.
