Air Pods Breeze Through EHS Halls

Air Pods have only been on the market for about two years but are becoming increasingly popular.

According to Apple CEO, Tim Cook, Air Pods are being seen everywhere nowadays.

“We’re seeing them in more and more places—in the gym, in coffee shops, wherever people are enjoying music on their Apple devices,” Cook stated in updated earnings post. This product is a runaway hit, and we’re working hard to meet the incredible demand.”

The only downside of the product: the cost. A pair of Air Pods cost $159, and that’s pretty steep for your average high schooler. Therefore, are they really worth the price?

Juniors Bryson Maedge and Evan Driscoll definitely feel they’re worth it.

“They not only revolutionize the way you listen to music, but they revolutionize the way you live,” Maedge said.

And Air Pods are for more than just music; according to Maedge they’re great for videos, especially for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response videos.

“I love using them for ASMR videos. The quality is great,” Maedge said.

Although Maedge and Driscoll did admit air pods do have some downsides.

“All the attention you’re going to get is so annoying,” Maedge jokingly said.

“And having to leave your friends behind as you transcend to a higher plane of existence,” Driscoll added.

But in all actuality, Maedge and Driscoll don’t see any flaws with air pods.

Driscoll is the student council officer of technology and has been experimenting with multiple wireless headphones and believes Apples air pods are the best on the market.

“Many companies have tried to create wireless earbuds and have not been able to achieve the same status that Apple has,” Driscoll said. “Air pods are truly a unique product with no wireless alternative.”
